React - Limited Edition 1 of 2 - UV reactive + Glow (size 9.75)

This limited edition ring took 9 months to create. The exterior blue glow and interior blue glow are made from a very special unique ultra slow cure epoxy heavily saturated with blue glow and an off white pigment. 

The Cream White Composite

To make this cream white composite glow, it took nearly 9 months to make. It is such a slow curing epoxy that we added the cream white pigment, let it sink, then we added blue glow 2 weeks later, let it sink. We placed it under vacuum for 4 days expelling all air bubbles, compressing the glow so it's as bright as humanly possible and the cream white has a light fade effect to it. After vacuum, we started the curing process in an oven. 3 hours a day over 3 weeks. It took another several months to full cure so it can be cut. 

Out of all the 9 blanks we made, only 5 survive. This ring and only one other will be made. 

The Filling

The middle of this ring is the first ever UV reactive composite we have worked with. It is a ton of intense, beautiful colors, swirled carefully together. The composite itself is UV reactive and illuminates under black light. It's the first dedicated composite I have ever made with UV reactive only composite. 

Due to the long duration of making of this ring, only 2 rings will ever be made. This one and another one. That is all. No further rings will be produced exactly like this.
