Glow in the dark is probably the funnest thing we do. We've developed our glow to be possibly the brightest glow in the dark lume in the world. We use a special resin that has excellent UV properties that keeps it from yellowing over time, in addition it's thin, so we can saturate more raw glow in the dark material into it.
Ultimately it's super bright, but some colors are brighter than other and that's what we get asked about all time. So we thought we'd snap a photo and talk about it. The photo attached to this blog is nearly all the colors lined up for a comparison.
From brightest to least brightest. Green, Aqua, White, Blue, Purple, Fire (red).
Let's talk about each color for a second.GREEN - Green is hands down the brightest and longest lasting.
AQUA - Aqua is a close second and is my personal favorite.
WHITE (ICE) - White is a little different. It glows super bright like green but only for a short duration. After that it's glow duration is more similar Purple or Fire. It also fades to an aqua color and only is true white with a full charge of a UV light or sunlight. It is also 3-4 times the cost of the other glow colors.
Blue - Blue is really beautiful. It's like the color of the sky on a sunny day.
Purple - Purple is amazing but fickle. It glows a deep indigo and fades to purple. Purple is the only color that only charges with UV light or sunlight. LEDs and Lamps don't work.
Fire (Red) - We call it fire instead of red because it is a beautiful cherry red during the day, but glows a hot orange/red in the dark much like a campfire.
Orange - Orange is similar to fire. It is orange during the day and glows a lighter orange in the dark than fire.
Lava - Lava is like Fire but has a pinkish hue and glows a hotter molten color like lava spewing out of a volcano.
